Welcome to my blog, "Operation: Slapshot", another NHL news blog.

I like practically every Canadian National Hockey League team. But the one I pay the most attention to is the Toronto Maple Leafs. My Favorite player is their captain, D Dion Phaneuf. Phaneuf has been my Favorite player for several years now, when he was a Calgary Flame. I also became a Vancouver Canuck fan, well a larger fan, of them in 2011, right before their Stanley Cup run. I wanted them to win that cup, but nope.
