TRADE BAIT: The Toronto Maple Leafs have been granted permission to speak to Miikka Kiprusoff's agent about a possible trade for the Flames' veteran goalie.

Since Iginla was traded to Pittsburgh, and Bouwmeester to St. Louis, another trade in the 2013 Calgary Flames Fire Sale might go on, with Kiprusoff having trade talks with Leafs' Dave Nonis.
The Toronto Maple Leafs were reportedly looking to add a veteran goaltender just in time for the 2013 NHL playoffs, as the Maple Leafs are on their pace for the playoffs for the first time since the 2003-04 playoffs.
Canucks' G Roberto Luongo and Flames' G Miikka Kiprusoff may be dealt to Toronto before Wednesday's trade deadline.
This is still a trade rumour, but Kiprusoff may be dealt, as the Flames have been getting some prospect goaltenders. There is also free agency this summer to find the Flames' future.

Leafs Trade: 2013 1st Round Pick (conditional?)
I think the Flames are trying to stack up on 2013 1st Round Picks, getting some from Pittsburgh and St. Louis in recent trades.
